In a trouble
When I met people I needed to know some formal language to introduce myself and make arrangements.

1 Ask and Request

たすけます	tasukemasu	help	たすけて！
いいます	iimasu	say/talk	もう　いちど　いって　ください。 Please speak once more.
まちます	machimasu	wait	ちょっとまってください。 Please wait a minutes.
おしえます	oshiemasu	teach	こうばんは　どこか　おしえてください Tell me where the police box is, please.
よびます	yobimasu	call	けいさつ/きゅうきゅうしゃを　よんで　ください Call the police/ambulance, please.
かします	kashimasu	lend	おかねを　かしてください。 Please lend me some money.
かえします	kaeshimasu	return (something)	かえしてください。 Please return it.
わたします	watashimasu	hand over	これを　すずきさんに　わたして　ください。 Please hand this to Mr. Suzuki.
あらいます	araimasu	wash	シャツを　あらってください。 Please wash this shirt.
			さがしてください。 Please look for it.

2 Permition

います	imasu	say/talk	えいごで　いっても　いいですか。 May I speak in English.
まちます	machimasu	wait	ここで　まっても　いいですか May I wait here.
かります	karimasu	borrow	おでんわを　かりても　いいですか。 May I borrow the telephone.
つかいます	tsukaimasu	use	おてあらいを　つかっても　いいですか。 May I use the bathroom.
みます	mimasu	look	みても　いいですか。 May I see it.

3 Explanation

なくします	nakushimasu	lose	さいふを　なくしました。 I lost my wallet.
わすれます	wasuremasu	forget	でんしゃに　かばんを　わすれました。 I forgot my bag on the train.
わかります	wakarimasu	understand	どこに　わすれたか　わかりません。 I 'm not sure where I left it.
あります	arimasu	have	どこにも　ありません。 I can't find them anywhere.
ちがいます	chigaimasu	wrong	これは　ちがいます。 This is wrong.
こまります	komarimasu	be in trouble	こまっています。 I am in trouble.
いります	imasu	need / necessary	よやくが　いります。 I need a reservation.
あいます	aimasu	meet	こうつうじこに　あいました。 I had a traffic accident.
できます	dekimasu	can	にほんごが　できません。 I can't speak Japanese.
まちます	mochimasu	have	パスポートを　もっています。 I heve my passport.
かえします	kaeshimasu	return (something)	あした　かえします。 I'll return it tomorrow.
きえます	kiemasu	be extinguished	ヒーター/クーラーが　きえました。
つきます	tsukimasu	light on	テレビが　つきません。
でます	demasu	come out	おゆが　でません。
とります	toorimasu	steal	さいふをとられました。 I had my wallet stolen.
まよいます	mayoimasu	lose	みちに　まよいました。 I am lost.

4. Desire and need

いきます	ikimasu	go	しぶやに　いきたいです。 I want to go to Shibuya.
かえります	kaerimasu	return	ホテルに　かえりたいです I want to return the hotel.
かいます	kaimasu	buy	きものを　かいたいです。 I want to buy a Kimono.
みます	mimasu	watch	おてらを　みたいです。 wI want to see some temples.
はなします	hanashimasu	speak	えいごで　はなしたいです。 I want to speak in English.
のみます	nomimasu	drink	のみたいです。 I want to dreink.
たべます	tabemasu	eat	たべたいです。 I want to eat.
よびます	yobimasu	call	タクシーを　よびたいです I want to call a taxi.
いります	irimasu	need / necessary	パスポートが　いりますか Do you need my passport?
かります	karimasu	borrow/lend	くるまを　かりたいです。 I want to lend a car.
つかいます	tukaimasu	use	アメリカンエキスプレスを　つかいたいです。 I want to use American express.
おくります	okurimasu	send	これを　アメリカに　おくりたいです。 I want to send this to The US.
